About Me

My name is Chapin Cavender, and I am a third-year student at UAB from Dallas, Texas. I am majoring in Physics with a concentration in Biophysics and minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I spend my spare time playing with cats, making terrible puns, and playing the guitar. 

About SI

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program designed to help students with subject material for difficult courses by offering additional learning sessions, review worksheets, and mock exams to help students review material and prepare for exams outside of class. SI is useful for all students, whether you are struggling to pass a course or trying to obtain the extra practice to bring a 'B' up to an 'A'.
